![]() I thoroughly recommend Wowpedia's page on Making a macro for learning how to create powerful macros. This can still provide plenty of flexibility even for fairly complex cast sequences, especially when combined with other macro commands and conditionals. If you want to cast multiple GCD-causing spells with the same macro, you can use /castsequence to do it, but you'll need to hit the macro once for each spell. If you have many spells or items which don't trigger the GCD, you can even chain them together, as in the (in)famous PoM/Pyro macro for mages. This means that a warlock could macro Soulburn and Summon Felhunter together (because Soulburn doesn't trigger the GCD), but not Bane of Agony and Corruption. The only case in which multiple spells/items can be used in a single macro is when only the last one triggers the global cooldown. Blizzard's approach to macros (in-game or out) is that one keypress should trigger only one action. Didn't work so I gather it's not a conflict in my other testing, or to do with the 'Auto Self Cast' option.WoW's macro system is deliberately unable to cast multiple spells with a single keypress except in very specific circumstances this is to discourage botting/cheating. Shame, but thank you all the same for the input. I also went in as a level 1 mage and tried the Smart Target options with Frostfire Bolt. Having tried it even with Bartender not loaded (and removing the swapactionbar functionaility) and just having keys made available so the bindings would work with the maro recognition, it seems the whole /run SetBinding('Ctrl-H','MACRO Owl')SaveBindings(2) just doesnt take. I tried various combinations of enabling/disabling the Blizzard 'Auto Self Cast' option, and the options 'Enabled', 'Auto Assist Casting' and 'Mouse-over Casting' on the 'State Configuration' BT tab. ![]() Since all my keys are bound to Bartender I'm entirely unable to play now. Note: The options are slightly different in Excel, we'll call those out as we go. Make the selections that you want, then click OK. In the Trust Center, click Macro Settings. Please provide any additional information below. When I went to play WoW Shadowlands this morining I found a new Blizzard patch had removed Bartender4 from my play screen. But suddenly it has changed and now is like if my mouse has different symbols. What version of the product are you using?Ĥ.6.5 I also tried 4.6.4 because I saw that the 4.6.4 changes which fixed a Mouse Over Casting bug wasn't listed in the 6.4.5 notes at ĭo you have an error log of what happened? I expect the cast to be applied to the mouseover target, instead the cast is applied to target -> self, but never mouseover. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Two seperate addons doing the same thing never works, and if it does, your game will crash after any intensive fight. If you do not want to disable the specific addons like lui, elvui, tukui etc etc, then make sure you have the action bars aspect for thier respective bars disabled. When I unlocked my buttons, the macro for LiteMount worked perfectly. Enable bar with a friendly castable skill. The problem turned out to be having buttons locked in Bartender. In combination with Blizzard's 'Auto Self Cast' option, this means that the priority is mouseover -> target -> self.ġ. Which casts Rejuvenation on my mouseover target if possible, or casts it normally if it does not exist or is hostile. I have a bunch of mouseover macros I was hoping to replace with the auto mouse over targeting functionality of BT4.
